Above is a photograph of a collage I have created using
various elements including book pages which make up the buildings towering behind
the subject, whilst shading in the sides of the buildings to give them a three
dimensional quality, I have consciously chosen to make proportions inaccurate
to give a surreal look and also to give a dramatic perspective. Despite not
using any modern images within the collage, it retains a futuristic look. There
is also depth to the image with the use of iconic branding and text, with a
figure in an iconic pose holding my object with text attached. There are strong lines within the image and there is a great
amount of contrast from using dark tones opposed with very light.
