As I wished to create an image based upon a towering
landscape, which would relate to and be influenced by an earlier collage I had
created and more recently the research I have completed upon the ‘Metropolis’, I
have decided to complete an interpretation based around vehicular components,
allowing the use of my main object for study. The majority of the buildings
will be created from collaged photographs of automobile badges that I has amassed
and recently photographed in order to progress with this idea. I have discussed
this thought with my teacher who supported it. Below I have added a picture of
the New York sky-line (circa. 1930) as a rough reference for my proposed image.
